Beginners Wheel Throwing

Designed for both complete beginners and practising potters wanting to hone in on their existing skills. In this six week course you'll learn the fundamental skills of wheel throwing. Throughout the course, you'll be guided through the full process of ceramics including: basic cylinder shapes, wedging, centring clay on the wheel, bowls, clay recycling, mugs, vases, trimming and glazing! Our small class sizes and one-on-one feedback mean you'll receive plenty of individual attention and guidance.

Aprons, clay, tools, glazes and firings included.

Term 4 2025:
Starting week of 12th May

7/6 Mondays (beginners + advanced) 6:30 - 9pm

9/6 Wednesdays 5 - 7 pm / 7:30 - 9:30pm

10/6 Thursdays: 5 - 7 pm / 7:30 - 9:30pm

11/6 Fridays: 10:30am - 12:30pm

12/6 Saturdays: 10:30am - 12:30pm

13/6 Sundays: 11am - 1pm

Term 5 2025:

Starting week of 1st September

Advanced + Beginners Wheel Throwing

$490 pp

Designed for students with previous experience (we recommend 2 terms of beginners wheel throwing) and practising potters wanting to hone in on their existing skills! In this six week course you'll learn more in depth skills of wheel throwing such as throwing larger pieces, tea pots, lidded forms and more complex forms. Our small class sizes and one-on-one feedback mean you'll receive plenty of individual attention and guidance.

Aprons, clay, tools, glazes and firings included.

Term 4 2025:
